To strengthen grassroots management echelon construction and enhance frontline managers’ communication competence and team management efficiency, Jiahe Food invited senior trainers from Bestway on March 2 to deliver a tailored training course on Situational Communication for Frontline Managers for 20 outstanding production team leaders. Wang Weiqing, Director of the President’s Office, and Xu Yan, Manager of the Human Resources Department, joined the training and started a practice-driven learning journey focusing on skill empowerment for all participants.
At the opening of the training, Director Wang Weiqing delivered an opening speech. Combined with the company’s talent echelon development plan, she emphasized that communication is the core of grassroots management work, as well as a key approach to uniting team strength and promoting work implementation. Meanwhile, from the perspective of applying knowledge into practice, she encouraged all trainees to cherish this learning opportunity, study communication skills diligently, transform acquired knowledge into practical management capabilities, achieve integrated knowledge and practice, and support team quality and efficiency improvement through efficient communication, so as to consolidate the grassroots foundation for the company’s high-quality development.
At the beginning of the course, Trainer Lu introduced the classic Johari Window model, guiding participants to re-examine the relationship between self-awareness and interpersonal communication. She helped them understand the communication logic of open area, blind area, hidden area and unknown area, and build a scientific cognitive framework for communication. Through self-assessment, trainees clearly identified their thinking stereotypes and behavioral blind spots in daily communication. Combining with the Communication Funnel Principle, Trainer Lu explained the information loss mechanism in the transmission process in simple terms, enabling participants to deeply understand the communication truth: What you think ≠ What you say ≠ What others hear ≠ What others understand. This realized their cognitive transformation from intuitive empirical communication to systematic scientific communication.
In the skill upgrading session, Trainer Lu focused on the core communication tool of Stating Conclusions First. With abundant real workplace cases, she demonstrated the golden structure of Conclusion – Reasons – Supporting Facts, which simplifies complex information and reshapes participants’ inherent habits in reporting and communication. Whether for upward reporting with conciseness or downward task assignment with clarity, this structured expression tool effectively improves communication efficiency, reduces information deviation for frontline managers, and promotes efficient work execution.
The on-site learning atmosphere was vibrant. Participants actively took part in interactive discussions and simulated drills, took notes of key knowledge, and exchanged practical communication challenges and work experience voluntarily. At the end of the training, based on overall performance and learning points throughout the day, the Best Team and Best Individual awards were selected. The organizing committee presented practical gifts to award-winning teams and individuals in recognition of their earnest learning attitude and excellent achievements. All trainees stated that the training integrated theoretical knowledge and practical applicability. They had not only mastered systematic communication frameworks, but also acquired practical tools applicable to daily work, realizing the leap from awareness to practice. They would apply learned communication skills into routine management to enhance team cohesion and execution.
The end of the course marks only the beginning of practical application. Real improvement in communication ability requires continuous practice and refinement in future management work.
